Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains when subscription fees for Talki, operated by Talki Inc. (“Talki”, “we”, “us”), may be refunded. It is part of and should be read together with our Terms of Service. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection laws.
2. Free trial
Eligible workspaces receive a free trial (7 calendar days unless stated otherwise at signup). To avoid charges, cancel before the trial ends. If you do not cancel, the first billing period begins automatically and is charged at the plan and interval you selected.
3. Subscription fees
Subscriptions are billed in advance for each billing period (monthly or annual). Because the Service is a digital subscription delivered immediately, fees for the current billing period are generally non-refundable once the period has begun, except where required by law or as expressly described below.
When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused time unless required by applicable law.
4. Discretionary refunds
We may, at our discretion, issue a full or partial refund where, for example:
- you were charged in error or double-charged;
- a sustained, documented Service outage prevented normal use of a paid feature;
- you cancel within a short grace period after an unintended renewal and have made little or no use of the new period.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
5. EU/EEA & UK consumers (right of withdrawal)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you may have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. By starting to use the Service during that period, you may be asked to expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery begins. Where the right still applies, contact us and we will process an eligible refund without undue delay.
6. Cryptocurrency payments
If you pay with cryptocurrency, transfers are generally irreversible once confirmed on-chain. Crypto payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Any approved refund may be issued in the same asset, at our discretion, and you are responsible for providing a correct receiving address and for network fees.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve it. Initiating a card chargeback before contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending resolution.
8. How to request a refund
Email billing@talki.tech from the email address associated with your account. Include your workspace name, the charge date, and the reason for the request. We typically respond within a few business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method; the time for funds to appear depends on your payment provider.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice, and the version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
